Welcome to the Sticks at the Moonlight Cinema

Hi Everyone, I'll post a couple of movies in the next couple of months. First up: Welcome to the Sticks. The Moonlight Cinema is a relaxing night out- byo picnic and enjoy a movie in the park. I've chosen a week night as it has a tendency to get crowded. You can buy tickets online or try your luck on the night at the box office. (Adults are $15) Please meet us at 7pm at the gate of the cinema (not gate D) with your ticket. We will wait until 7:10 and then go and find a spot. I have a tarp- anyone have a picnic blanket? You are welcome to BYO dinner and/ or something to share. Please check the website for information on what you can and can't bring and what is available there. From the website: Ford Fiesta Moonlight Cinema is an open air cinema screening latest release, contemporary, cult and classic movies on the sweeping lawns of the lush Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne. SUMMER 2008/09 season runs from the 11th of December to the 15th of March, so gather a group of friends, book your tickets and relax with a picnic as the sun sets and the screen lights up. Gates open at 7pm and screenings start at sundown, approximately 8.30 pm. MelbourneÂ’s Ford Fiesta Moonlight Cinema is located in the Royal Botanic Gardens, on Birdwood Avenue (near the intersection of Domain Road), South Yarra. Enter the cinema via Gate D and follow the path to the Central Lawn.
