Live Mariachi Band at El Norteno

Visit El Norteno Mexican Restaurant the 2nd Thursday of each month to enjoy not only authentic Mexican food but live Mariachi music as well. Mariachi music goes back hundreds of years, and according to popular legend, began in the nineteenth century in the Mexican state of Jalisco, in the town of Cocula.

You can now enjoy this unique music right here in Martinsville. On Mariachi night at El Norteno, the radio is turned off so you can enjoy the band. There is the possibly of getting your very own serenade at your table. Visit us and get a true feeling of Mexico.
