The Manchester Monarchs return to the Verizon Wireless Arena for their eighth season in the American Hockey League with their first home game of the 2008-09 season on Saturday, October 18 versus the Lowell Devils at 7:30 p.m. As you walk up to the front doors of the Verizon Wireless Arena, you are met by a crowd of equally excited fellow Manchester Monarchs fans. As the sea of purple and gold file through the glass façade, and enter The Jungle the sounds and smells of Monarchs hockey begin. Your first stop is up to you! Visit the Monarchs Pro Shop just inside the doors or head up the stairs to pick up your copy of ROAR. Hit up the concession stands for the hot dog or popcorn that you smell. For the children or young at heart, the cotton candy or ice cream stands may be your first stop.

Opting for fun over food, your children are sure to head for the Kids Club booth for the opportunity to pick up Chuck-A-Pucks. Our Kids Club members may also spin the prize wheel or get a balloon animal or hat! Max is a must see as our lovable mascot visits with fans. And don’t forget Crash as he crashes into the glass before the players hit the ice. Your seat may be the first place you go so you can soak in the atmosphere and get ready for the game.
