Homeschoolers Piano Field Trip

Join us for our first Homeschoolers Piano Field Trip, a day filled with lots of educational and fun music activities, with a splash of science and art mixed in! No experience is necessary, and this is open to beginners through intermediate players, ages 5-10 Please see below for detailed information: 12:30pm-3pm Ages 5-10, no experience necessary $15 session; Sibling discount: take $5 off second child For children with NO piano experience: This is a great way to find out if piano is the right instrument for the child! For children who already take lessons: This is a great day to learn duets, special songs, and increase piano skills! The goal is to advance skills in a more focused fashion, which will also help expedite the learning and value in the upcoming piano lessons! We will also: Take apart a piano and see how it works mechanically! Explore why large instruments create low sounds, and small instruments create high sounds Watch a piano being made from start to finish Play music games to learn to read music or sharpen your skills Write your own songs Make piano inspired snacks to eat Make new friends Email paulap@musicmakersacademy.com for more information or to sign up!
