Known for a long time simply as The Manchester Apollo, it was officially renamed The O2 Apollo Manchester in 2010.
The O2 Apollo Manchester has played host to some of the biggest names in music over the years with the likes of The Beatles, U2, Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue, Rage Against the Machine and local band Oasis all having featured on The O2 Apollo Manchester schedule at one time or another.
