Snowtubing Retreat

Payment Link: NoVA Travelers invite you to join us on our Snowtubing Weekend. Tubing is a blast! Cheaper than alpine skiing, easier to master, and in my opinion less risk of injury. We will meet at the resort lobby on Sat at 11am. Carpooling from the DC Metro area is available (I can take 3 in my car and as others volunteer to carpool we will match people to cars). We will return Sunday late afternoon. Trip fee includes all of the following for one low price: Snowtube lift tickets for Sat AND Sun overnight stay in Standard Heritage Hill Inn Room All you can eat Breakfast Buffet Sunday morning Gourmet Dinner in the Ironwoods Dining Room Sat night with music entertainment (please dress business casual for this). The Inn also has a full service affordable spa, fitness room and casual pub for lunch available. (extra charge for these services) One of the most popular winter attractions in the region, AvalancheXpress snow tubing is a thrilling downhill experience. With multiple downhill runs, including "Xtreme" lanes for experienced tubers, tubers enjoy fast moving lines and even faster tube rides. The engineering of the hill is in fact widely recognized as being the best along the East coast making for the most thrilling snow tubing experience around. Features of AvalancheXpress include: * Xtreme lanes (for dare-devil rides) * Family tubing lanes * Intermediate tubing lanes * Free-style area * Picnic tables, outdoor concessions and indoor bar * Two powered rope-lines to tow tubers to the hilltop * High-intensity full-flood lighting after dusk Note: Teens and children are welcome but childcare is not provided. We can work out a deal for a voucher at the casual restaurant if you're bringing children who may not be comfortable with the food choices at the Ironwoods Dining Room.
