San Francisco Grand Tour

Please join us on our Grand Tour of San Francisco. I've packed in just about every major tourist attraction in SF in just 4 short days, departing on Thursday April 2nd, 2008. We are going to see it all, including: Chinatown North Beach Mission District Union Square The Cannery Embarcadero The Wharf including Pier 39 and the sea lions Lombard Street Historic City Hall area Ghirardelli Square Coit Tower Golden Gate Bridge Muir Woods Sausalito In addition to the amazing places we are going to see listed above, we are also going to immerse ourselves in authentic SF cuisine including meals at: Steps of Rome (Trattoria in North Beach) snack shop in Chinatown local taqueria for Mission burritos Crabhouse on Pier 39 for Cioppino and other fresh seafood Ghirardelli ice cream and chocolate Rubicon (5 star restaurant, best food I've ever had) Harris Steak House (Kobe beef, cream of the crop) Neiman Marcus Rotunda dining room - a legend in great literature! I will of course do my best to keep the event page updated with current pricing info at all times. Trip fee for this San Francisco trip includes airfare and 4 nights hotel accommodations at Baldwin Hotel in the heart of Union Square in downtown SF. Trip fee also includes Muir Woods tour and transfers to/from airport. What's not included: 1. meals 2. public transportation fees. We will be taking trolleys, cable cars, taxis, subways, and ferries. Trolley is just $1.50 per ride, cable car is $5. Subway is less than $5. Pricing on taxis and ferries varies. 3. Spending money. As usual, members can use google checkout at http://family.parjen.com/meetup.htm to pay for this. Alternatively, members can pay via personal check, delivered in person or by mail to the organizer. As is our standard policy, members *must* provide payment within 24 hours of marking their "yes" rsvp otherwise their rsvp will be cancelled to give priority to members who are ready to pay.
