The Madison 9.12 Project

The Madison 9.12 Project has scheduled a meeting for 6:00pm on December 11th, 2009 at the Madison VFW. Due to the number of concerns expressed by various members of our South Dakota groups, I thought it was time to seriously discuss preparation, survival, and basic self-defense. This will not be a complete discussion by any means, but there should be plenty of meat on the bone! Some of the topics we will touch on will be: * Hierarchy of needs * Preparation for interruptions in public utilities * Preparation for possible interruptions in interstate commerce * Preparation for probable inflation or possible economic collapse * Communication in the event of catastrophe or blackout * Family Plans, Rally Points * Common sense survival tips * Individual self-defense (including avoidance/evasion, defensive stances, blocking moves, weapon selection, use of force ladder) * Home defense (pet issues, lighting issues, alarm issues, defense in depth, weapon selection, the Castle Doctrine) Some of the current events we will discuss will include: * Current Healthcare bill issues * Copenhagen (Hopenhagen, Choke and Gaggin') and Cap and Trade progress * Going Rogue * Ron Paul's "Audit the Fed" initiative * Nonnie's Christmas Card Wish List (hehehe) We will end the meeting with a brief discussion of current projects.
