Daily, dawn to dusk. Strollers and wheelchairs may have some difficulty due to curbs and moderate hills. Route includes the State Capitol which houses a Liberty Bell replica, Monona Terrace Convention Center, University of Wisconsin campus, Lake Monona, museums, a garden and a walk along the shoreline of Lake Mendota. Route also passes the birthplace of Thornton Wilder. The trail is on paved city sidewalks and a gravel path.
