Stuart Davis will be performing at the Majestic Theater in Madison on March 25 in support of his upcoming album, Something Simple.

Stuart Davis will release his new album, Something Simple, on Majeski Media distributed nationally by Ryko-WEA on March 25th. The first single from Davis' album "Already Free" is featured prominently in Paramount Picture's film Drill Bit Taylor, starring Owen Wilson. Davis wrote the song especially for director Steve Brill, who used it to wrap up the movie.
From there Davis went on to write, direct, and act in his own television series. In the tradition of Flight of the Concords, Tenacious D, and the
Chris Isaak Show, this spring Davis unveils a full season of The Stuart Davis Show, shot in HD with each episode featuring a full length music video from Davis's new album. In yet another medium, Davis's new book Sex, God,
and Rock 'n Roll comes out in 2008 on Shambhala distributed by Random House. The book is a memoir of Davis' odyssey through spirituality and music, and includes a CD of songs from Something Simple in the jacket of the book.
Davis has also written an original screenplay, Twisted Mystics, slated for production at the end of 2008. Davis will direct and act in the full length
feature, which will have an all-Stuart Davis sound track.
Davis will be tour extensively in 2008, in support of Something Simple. A 30 city tour begins this spring.
