Special Olympics Bowling Competition

The Special Olympics provides "year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with cognitive disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community." Our group will be assisting Special Olympic athletes in various ways through out the event. Lunch will be provided around 2pm. We will volunteer from approximately 11-5pm. FYI: The Special Olympics requires each volunteer to sign a waiver before being able to volunteer at an event. Our group will sign a group waiver once we reach the event. Please make sure to bring a photo Id with you. Also, if you or a guest you will be bringing to the event is under the age of 18, please contact me before you RSVP. Brian
