R.A.S. (Royal Ancient Society) MOVEMENT(in every sense of the word-they keep it movin!) The music, the dance, the show is truly a "movement" that can't help but create a vibrant community of loyal followers with a performance that exuberates energy, synergized and ignited by music with Afro-Caribbean choreography into one high voltage dance party! The world has noticed Naima Adedapo as the "complete package" finalist on American Idol last season, bringing dance (and Nigel Baker) to the studio for the first time in Idol history! Who better paired with than husband Jah Dwayne Tafari of King Solomon, tag teaming on lead vocals. On drums, internationally known Olen Franklin (breaks the audience down-say something else) each and every time. Olen has performed with many great gospel icons such as Edwin Hawkins, Kim Burrell and Marvin Sapp to name a few. No other reggae group can claim the top notch singers and dancers; all who learned from the masters in African dance, growing up with the second oldest African dance company in the nation. Music that's been described by those in the music industry as an "authentic sound of roots reggae with conscious lyrics," "an explosion of color!" comprised of Reggae, Roots, Dancehall, Dub and Lover's Rock melded with Neo Soul and Hip Hop. The NON-STOP Traditional, Roots and Hip Hop dance movement, with a band full of musicians and dancers have fused together harmoniously with a unique sound and original music! They create an amazing balance of energy and music that reaches out to all audiences. Silhouetted on Milwaukee's reggae scene they shine
