Description:
Curated around the theme of justice, Tales from Planet Earth films are organized into four subject strands: Landscapes of Labor, Precious Resources, Strange Weather and In the Company of Animals. In "Precious Resources" films, audiences can consider how economics, power, cultural values and geography all play into the mix of what constitutes a precious resource. Because scarcity -- of quality food, water, land, fossil fuels and other commodities -- is not simply about the limits of nature.
