MADISON COMMUNITY GOSPEL CHOIR (MCGC) was founded and formed in 2002 by Colier McNair! MCGC is an interdenominational group of people who LOVE to sing gospel music together. Colier McNair is also joined by directors Demecious Williams and Shaun Jackson, who have all composed much of the choir's dynamic contemporary music over the years. Other local directors who have contributed to the choir include Jackie Colbert (Mt. Zion Baptist Church), Gunnard Swanson (Arbor Covenant Church) and Pastor Emeritus Charles McNair, Sr. (Vessels of Praise).

Since its inception, MCGC has been featured in partnership with St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Cross Plains, helping to raise funds for McKallie's Home of Future and Hope Children's Village in Malawi Africa, a non-denominational Christian children's village working to alleviate the suffering of orphans and vulnerable children brought on by poverty and the HIV/AIDS crisis. www.mckallieshome.org

**MADISON COMMUNITY GOSPEL CHOIR is a multi-cultural group featuring singers and members from various churches in Dane County. To join the choir, no audition is required, and there is no cost. However, a small fee is suggested for materials.
