Sheltered Life European Premiere at Filmstock International Film Festival

This is a great festival, very highly recommended by filmmakers. They never approach distributors, they don't scout other film festivals, they pick their films from submissions--that's it, that's all.

Well, except for Sheltered Life, which they invited without submission. I've been told it's the first film invited without submission in their ten-year history.

How did this happen? Louis McCullagh, our biggest fan and an award-winning filmmaker in his own right, slipped them a copy of our film & mentioned how we're too poor to afford any more festival submissions (which is true). He also mentioned how much he loves the film and holds it in the highest regard (that must have helped!).

So, if you're in the UK and you want to see some great cinema, head over to Luton on Friday the 13th for the screening & for hanging out with some cool film types. Some of our crew and cast will be in attendance. More on that closer to the date.
