Celebrate the history, the significance, and the fun of these tethered aircraft in three fascinating exhibits: “Kites to Kitty Hawk: The Origin of Flight”, “The Rise of the Roloplan: The Kite Designs of Richard Steiff”, and “A Second Wind: Contemporary Kites.” Plenty of hands-on kite making and kite flying activities for all ages. In partnership with the Drachen Foundation.
