Bernheim is open daily year round from 7 a.m. until sunset, except Dec. 25 and Jan. 1st. Also the trails are closed Saturday, Nov. 6 through Monday, Nov. 15, for hunting season. Visitor Center is open 9-5 daily. Free admission Mon-Fri. On Sat., Sun. and holidays, admission costs $5 car, $10 passenger van, RV's and $20 buses. Walkers can stroll along scenic paths, past a nationally recognized arboretum, a place of tranquil beauty, beautiful gardens, placid lakes and ever-changing natural splendor. The Visitor Center has water and restrooms, and a gift shop. The route has gravel, paved and wooded trails with no significant hills. An A-Z program event. Bernheim website: www.bernheim.org
