Nursing Organizations Alliance 2009 Fall Summit

The Nursing Organizations Alliance (The Alliance) was formed when two long-standing coalitions of nursing organizations united to create an enduring collaborative that would promote a strong voice and cohesive action to address issues of concern to the community of nursing. The historic vote to create The Alliance occurred on Nov. 17, 2001, at a special meeting National Federation for Specialty Nursing Organizations (NFSNO) and the Nursing Organizations Liaison Forum (NOLF) member organizations in Salt Lake City, UT. The purpose of the Alliance is to provide a forum for identification, education and collaboration building on issues of common interest to advance the nursing profession. The purpose of the 2009 Fall Summit is to provide a forum for identification, education, and collaboration building on issues of common interest to advance the nursing profession. The Fall Summit is designed for the chief elected officers and chief staff officers of The Alliance member organizations.
