In celebration of Disney's Platypus Day, Radio Disney AM 1110, part of the #1 radio network for kids, tweens and families, hosts a family-friendly event March 3 (10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m.) at the Los Angeles Zoo with interactive entertainment including "Phineas and Ferb"-themed activities, music and prizes. The Radio Disney AM 1110 Road Crew will be on-site teaching "The Platypus Walk," a dance to a catchy spy-surf-rock song designed to encourage fun physical activity as part of Disney's commitment to inspire kids and families to lead active lifestyles. For Radio Disney, this is one of 31 events taking place across the country in support of the multi-platform Platypus Day, which includes 11 hours of "Phineas and Ferb" programming on Disney Channel and Disney XD, an interactive website dedicated to Perry the Platypus, and a fun giveaway and special Platypus Takeover at all Disney Stores in the U.S. & Canada.
