Loscon, one of the largest fan-run science fiction conventions in Los Angeles, will honor 2009 NAACP Image Award winners Tananarive Due ("Blood Colony") and Steven Barnes ("Shadow Valley") as well as cartoonist Tim Rickard ("Brewster Rockit, Space Guy"). In addition to 13 programming tracks, the event will also feature a Friday night steampunk ice cream social, Dress Like a Pirate Saturday, cosplay, a fan-inspired masquerade, an art exhibition and a gaming suite....
