Artist Sebastiaan Bremer will present his work in conjunction with the exhibition in the Bolsky Gallery. In the Robert Ahmanson Forum.The Brooklyn-based artist and curator works with painting, drawing, photography, murals and collage. He is known for his method of drawing directly on photographs. Sebastiaan was born in Amsterdam in 1970, and attended the open studio program at the Vrije Academie in The Hague and the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture. He has had solo exhibitions since 1994 in Rotterdam, Curitiba (Brazil), New York, Stockholm, Berlin, Paris, The Hague, London and Brooklyn. This year, Sebastiaan created an exhibition that responded to Dutch works in the LACMA collection.
