The 3rd annual Otis Report on the Creative Economy will include information on 2008 creative sector economic stats (jobs, sales revenue) as well as a five- year forecast on creative economy jobs (within each segment of the creative economy). With an introduction by Samuel Hoi, president of Otis College of Art and Design, the new data will be presented by Dr. Nancy D. Sidhu, chief economist of The Kyser Center for Economic Research at the Los Angeles Economic Development Corp. This special report will be followed by a discussion with some of LAâs top business, art and design leaders. Confirmed speakers include Sir Ken Robinson, author and creativity expert; and Laura Zucker, executive director, Los Angeles County Arts Commission. Frances Anderton, host of KCRWâs DnA: Design & Architecture and producer of To the Point, will moderate.
