Fresh off the successful and critically acclaimed debut album It Started When You Were Young from his London based band Blondelle, Samuel Stewart decided to relocate to Los Angeles to re-imagine himself as an artist. Shortly after arriving, Stewart began producing the debut album The Giving Tree for his brother Django’s band Django James and the Midnight Squires. Inspired and invigorated from the experience, Stewart decided to continue songwriting and performing, re-entering the studio to record his first solo effort.
