Our five piece rock band formed in 1999 and after playing the Sunset Strip clubs and self producing EPs for a couple of years, we made our self titled major label debut and hit the road. We toured with Weezer, The Strokes, Sloan, The Sounds, The Donnas, Travis, Keane and many others. After our first record reached nearly gold status and yielded two successful singles, we retreated to L.A. where, after many hold ups, we recorded "Calling the World" over three weeks time. El Rey Theatre
In the heart of one of LA’s art deco districts (Miracle Mile), lays a preserved city landmark, the El Rey Theatre. The El Rey Theatre Los Angeles had been converted into a live music event space in 1994 after over 50 years of serving the community as a movie house. Although the El Rey Theatre had not become a music venue until the 90s, it was designed by Clifford Balch and built in the mid 1930s. The El Rey Theatre is uniquely a registered Historic-Cultural Monument. The El Rey Theatre Los Angeles is equipped with an art deco lobby, grand ballroom, sweeping staircases, VIP balcony lounge and a full entertainment stage.Advanced tickets for performances on the El Rey Theatre schedule of events can only be purchased through Ticketmaster. Event tickets are only available at the El Rey Theatre Los Angeles box office on the night of the show (considering that the show has not been sold out).
