For 26 years, Outfest has screened more than 4,500 international films and videos for audiences of well over half a million people. Each year we showcase over 200 features and shorts films in ten venues to audiences of more than 45,000 people.
Outfest is the only gay and lesbian film festival in the heart of the entertainment industry, and more industry executives attend Outfest than any other gay and lesbian film festival. Our Access LA program offers comprehensive services for emerging filmmakers to forge connections in Hollywood. These services include:
â&128;&148; One-on-one industry meetings with an agent, manager, production company executive, entertainment lawyer or distribution company executive for directors in the festival.
â&128;&148; A five-part HBO Breakfast Series hosted by members of the Outfest Board of Directors, with topics like How to Find Distribution, How to Get Work in Television, How to Get Representation, etc.
â&128;&148; A DVD library at the Directors Guild of America accessible to distributors and programmers.
â&128;&148; Three dozen panels, parties and receptions where filmmakers meet other filmmakers as well as representatives from the industry, other festivals and international LGBT media outlets.
