Natalie Peruvian Seafood Restaurant

Let's take a jaunt through the Incan civilization at Natalie's Peruvian Seafood Restaurant, a tiny dining establishment on Hollywood Blvd, very close to Thai Town. I first tried this a couple of months ago after an LA Foodies wine tasting at K&L and enjoyed the variety of flavors and cooking techniques employed by the chefs. I suggest that we order a few selections and share, so that we all get a chance to try their range of entrees. Possible suggestions: - Fried Calamares - Ceviche de Mariscos (shrimp, squid, octopus, and mussels in lemon juice and Peruvian spices) - Pescado Sudado (fish fillet steamed in sauce of onions and tomatoes) - Lomo saltado (beef with onions and fried potatoes) - Tallarin de mariscos (Peruvian seafood pasta) - Arroz de chaufa a la Natalie (fried rice with shrimp, calamares, chicken, etc.) They are also known for their intensely spicy green aji sauce (in a jar on every table). Natalie's also offers Peruvian drinks such as Inca Cola and Chicha Morada. Natalie's is located on Hollywood Blvd. just east of the 101. It is located right by a 7-11. There is a tiny lot there, but because it is shared with the 7-11 as well as the Thai restaurant Yai next door, it is often filled, and so be prepared to find nearby street parking.
