Description: Exposing children to the wonders of art, history, and culture is a great way to instill learning habits that will enrich their lives well into adulthood. At the Museum of the American West, families with children will be guided in their quest for knowledge and appreciation of the American West and its diverse cultures with a series of fun and engaging hands-on, educator-led activities. Each bimonthly workshop will focus on a theme related to our permanent collection or a special exhibition. Families will spend 30 minutes in the gallery with an educator exploring an object or idea, followed by storytelling and hands-on activities.
