6:30-10:30: Brandon Sherman QuintetBrandon Sherman, trumpet player and composer, devotes his time towards what he calls "Progressive Contemporary Creative Contextual Spontaneous Improvisational Musicking." Though his music is unique, it has been labeled "similar to" the music of Ralph Alessi, Kneebody, Ron Miles, James Miley, Steve Reich, the Claudia Quintet, John Hollenbeck Large Ensemble, and many other groups.
