6:30-10:30: Alan Broadbent and Pat Senatore DuoAlan Broadbent, jazz pianist-arranger-composer, has worked with Woody Herman, Diane Schuur, Chet Baker, Irene Kral, Sheila Jordan, Charlie Haden, Warne Marsh and Bud Shank â€" to mention only a few. He won two Grammies for arrangements he did with Natalie Cole and Shirley Horn. He plays with consummate taste and lyricism, and his virtuosic command of his instrument never once gets in the way of his goal, which is to produce the best music possible. Vibrato’s Artistic Director, bassist Pat Senatore, has worked with Stan Kenton, The Tijuana Brass, Peggy Lee, Carmen McCrae, Joe Henderson, Freddy Hubbard, Eddie Harris, Joe Pass -- just to mention a few. He also owned and operated his own jazz club, Pasquale’s, on the beach in Malibu . He is known for his impeccable sense of time, velvet sound and technical mastery.
