Positively Absolutely! The Santa Ana REI or even someplace like the Anaheim convention center would be good (although the REI store would be the best by far!)!

It would be great for Garmin to come here and jumpstart southern California's Wherigo booooom! THere are plenty of places in Anaheim/Santa Ana area to display the Wherigo's capabilities.

PS, there is no problem using this location for a Wherigo event, other than the enormous amount of interest in the brand-new Wherigo platform and Garmin Colorado! I wouldn't be going out on a limb to say that Garmin is probably the most preferred GPS system in Orange County.

I agree wholeheartedly, he Wherigo team would be making a smart decision to showcase this new revolution in Santa Ana, California, with so many willing people to embark on their Wherigo experiences. Definitely Anaheim or Santa Ana, California. Easily Accessible from John Wayne Airport and LAX, this is a perfect spot for Garmin and Groundspeak to come and spead some hype. Perfectly located between Los Angeles and San Diego, with Disneyland, Edison Field, and Anaheim Pond, Anaheim would be a great place for Wherigo to spead. I know that this area in general probably has one of the highest saturation of geocaches and geocachers, that it would be a mega event. I know that there are also tons of people arond who would absolutely enjoy making plenty of new cartridges and virtual worlds for Southern California to explore. I know there are quite a few REIs around that have the means to put on an event like this. The perfect REI for this would be the Santa Ana location, at 1411 Village Way, Santa Ana, CA. This would be a great location to display the new wherigo cartridges and it would be great if So Cal could start growing some Wherigo experinces.
