Description
Daily, except Christmas and New Year's day. Summer Hours: 8:00am-6:00pm; Winter: 8:00am-4:30pm; Spring/Fall, 9:00am-5:30pm. Call to verify the hours, which may change depending on budget issues. On the Bandelier National Monument Hill Climb," you will see ancient ruins of the Ancestral Pueblo Peoples as you hike up and down the many stair steps and you will also view the abundant flora and fauna of the park. The Main Ruins Loop, with the extension to Alcove House, plus the Falls Trail to the Upper Falls Overlook, is 10km (rated 3); the 11km option (rated 4) continues to the Lower Falls Overlook; and the 13km option (rated 5) continues to the Rio Grande.
