A $3 million 1907 US gold coin, a famous $1 million "Inverted Jenny" stamp and over $300,000 of Babe Ruth memorabilia will be exhibited at the Long Beach Coin, Stamp & Collectibles Expo, May 31 - June 2, 2012, in the Long Beach Convention Center, 100 S. Pine Ave. The show is open to the public for buying and selling gold and silver, rare coins, vintage paper money, rare stamps, sports memorabilia and other collectibles and estate jewelry. A free gold coin is given away daily as a door prize. Many of the 1,000 dealers attending the show will offer free, informal appraisals for the public. There will be educational seminars and collector's club meetings, and Heritage Auctions will conduct a public auction of rare coins. Hours: Thursday & Friday, May 31 & June 1, 10am to 7pm; Saturday, June 2, 10am to 5pm.
Cost: Payment required - $8 (good for all three days); $4 for seniors 65 and older and children ages 8 to 16. Free admission for children ages 7 and younger. Discount coupons are available at www.LongBeachExpo.com.
