LA TRAVIATA’S VALENTINE’S FESTIVITIES MUSIC TO YOUR EAR

One of Long Beach’s most romantic restaurants is getting even more heated with its Valentine’s line-up. La Traviata is offering romantics of all ages a series of specials and live entertainment Friday, Feb 10 – Monday, February 14. The highlight of the weekend will be a 4-course, prix fixe dinner prepared by Executive Chef Trinidad Betancourt who will cook up a sumptuous meal starting with a choice of lobster or spaghetti squash ravioli followed by a California fresh salad with field greens tossed in a vinaigrette with pear tomatoes and candied walnuts. Entrees include South African white fish (similar to Chilean sea bass) or a tender filet mignon with Stilton bleu cheese and a Madera wine sauce. The meal will be topped off with a chocolate hearts gelato. Cost is $59 per person. Chanteuse Sheryl Smith will croon love songs during most of the 4-day period.

“Since Valentine’s Day is on a Monday, we decided to offer a number of specials and surprises throughout the entire weekend so that we can reach as many couples as possible,” said charismatic owner Mario Nasab. “My intention is to ensure that all couples visiting La Traviata have as romantic a time as possible.”
