Shear Sharpening School - $300.00 From 9 AM - 4PM. Hands-on Sharp N Shop
Free event. from 2PM - 4PM. Come get your questions answered, see sharpening demonstrations, shop for shears, sharpening supplies and more. This is an interactive networking session. Bring your questions and your shopping list. Appropriate for salon and groomer sharpeners and those exploring the sharpening buisiness. Even though this is a free open house setting we ask that you register since space in limited and so we can contact you if there is a change in the schedule. (Call if you need to schedule a different time that day)
Shear Sharpening School
9AM - 4PM $300.00
Instructor: Bonnie Megowan and Gene Megowan
Bonnie is the 2012 top placed Master Sharpener for the National Beauty Tool Sharpeners Guild. This class will be appropiate for beginner and intermediate sharpener. You will learn hands-on how to sharpen convex (Japanese style) beauty shears and bevel edge (barber style) shears.
Includes
- Instruction on how to sharpen shears on a flathone type system
- DVD "Sharpen Faster and Easier" a $59 value
- Practice scissors
- Certificate of school completion
- Your sharpening equipment flathone style (if you do not have equipment it is available for purchase or you can arrange to borrow ours)
- Problem scissors you may have encountered
- Notepad, pen and a red Sharpie pen
This is an abbreviated class of the full one day class. Class size is limited to 6. You can bring a companion to observe at no charge. We will send the DVD by priority mail for you to watch in class once we receive payment for the class. Class price is transferrable but not refundable.
