Assembly of Purses Volunteers- Gifts for Women in Shelters

Come out and help assemble purses for "JoanieÂÂ's Purses,ÂÂ" an outreach program of the YWCA Central Orange County, provides purses to women in local Orange County shelters. We will go out to lunch after the event to share our experiences. Lunch details to come soon. When: Sat. Dec. 12, 2009 9am-Noon Where: 133. N. Grand St. Orange , 92866 Park in Wells Fargo Parking Lot across the street Check in at YWCA Office *You can also donate new or gently used purses, additions to its contents, or both! Suggestions: -Medium to large purses, preferably new -Sample or travel-size personal hygiene items such toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel/body wash, deodorant, Kleenex, dental floss, lotion, etc. -Candy, protein bars, breath mints, packaged snacks, tea bags, etc. (no medicine or items with alcohol such as mouthwash.) - A small gift such as makeup, pen, or socks.
