Sean's Intermediate Game [Ruislip]

The Ruislip Game takes the form of a Texas Holdem Tournament poker night and is run at Hillingdon Athletic Club for club members and their friends. This is going to be a test of a more serious game than the last Friday of the Month game that is aimed at total beginners. Beer is cheap (£2.20 a pint!), and there is table football and a pool table, chess sets available for those who are unlucky enough to bust out early. The game is on Friday starting at 7:30 sharp. There are going to be two of these games in a night. Two short sharp fun games. It's going to be two games of £5 40 minute single rebuy Sean, could we have that in English!!! When you first arrive you hand over £5 and you get 1,500 chips. If at any point after a hand has been finished your stack is 750 or under you can shout chips! At this point you can hand over another £5 and get handed 1,500 chips to add to your reduced stack. (you can only do this once in the first 40 minutes). (or the in the first three hands after 40 minutes) You will then play normal poker until the last person standing. For those of you used to the normal Friday game this is very different. There will be no second game. No sheets showing you the hand order. When you are out you are out. The prize structure will be a percentage of the money collected:- First prize 60% Second prize 30% Third prize10% There will be cash games as people get knocked out and the level of entry will be decided by those who want to finish.
