Description
To mark the 70th anniversary of the Kindertransport from Vienna to London, the ACF Cine Club will screen the Academy Award winning documentary Into the Arms of Strangers. Directed by Mark Jonathan Harris and narrated by Judi Dench, this film tells the story of the Kindertransport which brought over 10,000 children from Austria, Germany and Czechoslovakia to Britain 10 months before the outbreak of WWII.Stories of child-refugees are recounted using archival footage and interviews.
