Scott Bourne is a great photographer, blogger, and marketing guy. Check out www.photofocus.com to see some of the resources has has made available for all photographers. He is speaking at pictureline in Salt Lake on the 17th of November, and I think we ought to carpool down together! The cost is $10, and you need to buy a ticket from pictureline: http://store.pictureline.com/scott-bourne-event.html The cost is $10, but you also get a $10 gift card for pictureline, so it's not a bad deal. Let's meet at about 4:45 to leave by 5:00 pm. Hurry and buy a ticket, becaue they are going quickly. We could meet at Macey's, perhaps (big parking lot) and carpool down to be there by 7:00. This is an opportunity to improve your photography by learning from a master.
