Rocky Mountain National Park ÂÂ- The Lakes Tour Part 3

Trailhead: Glacier Gorge Approximate Distance: 10.5 Miles Approximate EG: 3,000 Feet Trail Type: Out and Back Class: 1 ÂÂ- 3 (Blue Lake) Water We Will See Alberta Falls Mills Lake Jewel Lake Black Lake Blue Lake (conditions permitting) Shelf Lake (conditions permitting) Solitude Lake (conditions permitting) This hike is for those who enjoy lake hikes but still want a good workout. This is one of my favorite hike in RMNP, the views are spectacular. Sorry dogs are not allowed on the trails in RMNP. We are asking for a non-mandatory $3.00 donation per person to help cover the cost of running this meetup group. REQUIRED: Wind and rain gear, 10 essentials, lots of snacks and plenty of water, sunscreen. A warm down or fleece coat to wear when we stop for lunch. Recommended: I strongly suggest trekking poles. We may encounter some snow and icy spots along the way so gaiters and micro spikes will be helpfull. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for bring proper gear including the ten essentials, adequate food and water and most importantly the ability to make sound decisions.
