McManus is the author of the novel "Bitter Milk" and the short story collections "Born on a Train" and "Stop Breakin Down." He currently teaches in the MFA programs at Old Dominion University and Goddard College. The lecture will be in the Alabaster Lounge on the second floor of Old Main.
