We have at least 1900 fans registered on the radioheadperu.org mailing list, 4000 taking part of our radioheadenlima.com poll, those 600-odd people attending our tribute concerts through the years and the thousands of unregistered fans who haven't heard of our web-based community yet. We maintain close bonds with the band's surroundings and they take our fan community into account, to the point where Stanley Donwood himself made a t-shirt design for us.
Two of us had the chance to talk to Ed O'Brien and Jonny Greenwood and they both mentioned it'd be interesting to play down here. If this petition will somehow help them play here, that'd be enough. Latin America has been waiting for Radiohead since 1994 (where they visited small clubs in Mexico) and it's time they pay us a visit.
Fortunately things are pointing towards a March/April 2009 tour, so it seems we're closer every day.

Radiohead
Radiohead are an English rock band that formed in Oxfordshire in 1986. The band's lineup, which has remained the same since its inception, consists of Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Ed O'Brien, Colin Greenwood and Phil Selway. Radiohead released their first single, "Creep", in 1992, followed by their debut album Pablo Honey (1993). Although initially unsuccessful, the song became a worldwide hit when it was re-issued a year later. The band's popularity in the United Kingdom increased with their second album, The Bends (1995).
