The militia muster was a time for the men of the town to practice their martial skills. It was also a time for the community to get togyether and for people to look their best. The participants at this event will be wearing hand sewn and meticulously researched clothing. You will have the opportunity to talk with these historians, learn about clothing and culture in 18th century New England, see a militia muster with marching and musket firing, enjoy period music, games and more! Presented by The Center for 18th Century Life at Minute Man NHP.
