We're just one day away from change.

Election Day is tomorrow -- Tuesday, November 4th.

We've asked you to do a lot over the course of this campaign, and you've always come through.

Right now, I'm asking you to do one last thing -- vote tomorrow, and make sure everyone you know votes, too.

When this campaign began, we weren't given much of a chance by the pollsters or the pundits.

But tomorrow, we can make history.

We've made it this far because supporters like you never stopped believing in your power to bring about real change.

    Take the final step now.

Find your polling location, and get everyone you know involved on Election Day.

With your vote, and the votes of your friends, family, and neighbors, we won't just win this election -- together, we will change this country and change the world.

    Thank you,

    Barack

Join Barack at the Open Convention

I wanted you to be the first to hear the news.

At the Democratic National Convention next month, we're going to kick off the general election with an event that opens up the political process the same way we've opened it up throughout this campaign.
Barack has made it clear that this is your convention, not his.

On Thursday, August 28th, he's scheduled to formally accept the Democratic nomination in a speech at the convention hall in front of the assembled delegates.
Instead, Barack will leave the convention hall and join more than 75,000 people for a huge, free, open-air event where he will deliver his acceptance speech to the American people.

It's going to be an amazing event, and Barack would like you to join him. Free tickets will become available as the date approaches, but we've reserved a special place for a few of the people who brought us this far and who continue to drive this campaign.

If you make a donation of $5 or more between now and midnight on July 31st, you could be one of 10 supporters chosen to fly to Denver and spend two days and nights at the convention, meet Barack backstage, and watch his acceptance speech in person. Each of the ten supporters who are selected will be able to bring one guest to join them. Make a donation now and you could have a front row seat to history.

We'll follow up with more details on this and other convention activities as we get closer, but please take a moment and pass this note to someone you know who might like to be there.

It will be an event you'll never forget.

    Thank you,

    David

    What will happen today

This campaign has always been about more than just an election.

When Barack and I first talked about doing this, we agreed that there was a unique opportunity for change in this country -- a real chance to move beyond the divisive politics of the past and bring people together around our shared hopes for a better future for all.

    Today, America is watching Kentucky.

All across the country, people are following the results of today's primary and waiting to see if voters like you are ready for real change.

Send a message that you're ready for a new kind of leadership and a new kind of politics. Vote for change today, and make sure your friends and family get out and vote as well.

Use our online tool to find your polling site:

    http://ky.barackobama.com/KYlookup

We've come a long way since we started this campaign last February. And today, the goal of real change is within reach.

But there's still a lot of work to do -- and today, we need you to go to the polls and make your voice heard.

Look up your polling site and vote today:

    http://ky.barackobama.com/KYlookup

    Thanks for everything you've done,

    Michelle

P.S. -- Here are a few details that should help make Primary Day go smoothly. Be sure to share these with your friends:

    - Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. If you are in line when the polls close at 6:00 p.m., you have the right to vote.

    - Go to the polls early if you can, and make sure you don't get stuck at work and miss your chance to vote.

    - All voters must bring an ID or be personally acquainted with the precinct officer. Acceptable forms of ID include a driver's license, a Social Security card, a credit card, or any ID card with both the voter's picture and signature.

    - If you have questions or need a ride to your polling place, please call our voter hotline at 866-675-2008.

    One last thing...

I wanted to get in touch with you one last time before tomorrow's primary.

We've had a long journey together in Kentucky. For more than a year, you have been dedicated to the idea that when ordinary people come together, we can do extraordinary things.

It's been inspiring to see our movement grow in the Bluegrass State, and it strengthens my faith that the American people -- not just here in Kentucky, but across the country -- are ready to stop settling for what the cynics tell us we must accept and start reaching for what's possible.

Tomorrow's our chance to make history.

It's vitally important that you vote, and bring your family and friends to vote with you.

Find your polling location and vote tomorrow:

    http://ky.barackobama.com/KYlookup

When Michelle and I talked about me running for president, one of the core goals we both had for this campaign was to leave the political process better off than we found it.

That's just what you've done in Kentucky. And you refused to let the tired old tactics of the political status quo distract you from building this grassroots movement.

If you get out and vote tomorrow -- and bring others to vote too -- our movement will continue to grow. The world will know that people like you stood up for a different kind of politics. And real change will be within reach.

    Find your polling location:

    http://ky.barackobama.com/KYlookup

    Let's bring real change tomorrow.

    Barack

P.S. -- It's not too late to get involved and help Get Out The Vote tomorrow. Even if you've never participated in a campaign before, you can make a big difference -- sign up now:

And here are a few details and rules that will help make the voting process run smoothly. Make sure to share these with your friends:

    - Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. If you are in line when the polls close at 6:00 p.m., you have the right to vote.

    - We strongly encourage you to vote before work -- don't risk getting stuck late at work and missing the chance to vote in this historic election!

  • Barack Obama Barack ...

Tomorrow is the official kickoff of Vote for Change, an unprecedented 50-state voter registration and mobilization drive. In over 100 cities across America, from Anchorage, Alaska to Miami, Florida, grassroots supporters will hit the streets to register voters. With events planned in every single state, no matter where you live, you can find an event near you.

As Democratic Governor Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas explained,"This could change the face of American politics for decades to come."

Our efforts across the country have already yielded incredible results. According to a recent Associated Press survey, over 3.5 million people registered to vote in the first three months of 2008. Now we're expanding our approach to every single state, as part of a sustained, six-month effort that could reshape the electoral map.

Most events will begin in the late morning or early afternoon, and will run approximately four hours. No prior experience is necessary, and materials and training will be provided at each location.

There is no better way to start your weekend tomorrow, and no more important work to be done right now than bringing more voters, and more voices, into the political process.

    Find an event near you.

  • Barack Obama Barack ...

    Gotcha

Did you see the debate Wednesday night?

If you did, you saw more gotcha politics and distractions than questions about the pressing issues affecting our country.

In fact, it took more than 45 minutes before Barack was asked about the economy, health care, or foreign policy.

Regrettably, Senator Clinton seemed all too comfortable with that type of debate. She's running a 100% negative campaign in Pennsylvania, taking every opportunity to make personal and discredited attacks against Senator Obama.

You can send a message that politics doesn't have to be played this way.

Make your first donation today, and someone who's already given will match whatever amount you decide to give. You can double your impact, and you'll even get to see the name and town of the fellow supporter matching your first online gift.

Will you make a $25 donation now?

    https://donate.barackobama.com/match

Senator Clinton's false, negative attacks are exactly the kind of say-anything, do-anything politics that the American people are tired of.

That's why polls show that the majority of Americans think she's running the most negative campaign, and 58% of voters do not find her honest or trustworthy.

Barack Obama wants to end the politics of division and distraction in Washington so we can bring about real change for ordinary Americans.

The stakes are too high to play the same old games. More than 1.3 million supporters have responded to Barack's message of change, and with your help we can reach 1.5 million by May 6th.

Make a donation of any amount today, and it will be matched by a previous donor who has pledged to double your impact:
