Saturday Night Salsa

Beginner Salsa Lessons starting at 9:45 (maybe 10 - depends on restaurant). $5 entry ALL NIGHT!! There is a new spot in Reston Town Center called 'Obi After Dark'. It is a sushi place by day and now, on Saturday nights, they'll be featuring Latin music. I have arranged a meetup with the manager there for OUR meetup group. Because it is a restaurant, the lessons need to start a little later. I'll be teaching beginner salsa for about 45 mins - it will be enough to get newbies dancing. If you've had a lesson in the past - you might learn a new technique!! The night will be considered 'salsa' night (the 3rd Saturday of every month will be heavy on the salsa) and the manager is planning on featuring non-alcoholic drink specials for those salseros who don't want to drink all night long but would like an option other than water (that's me!). I think that this night as promise - AS LONG AS - it is supported. I know many have wanted a Saturday night option - so - here you go. Please note: PLEASE SUPPORT THE BAR! Salsa nights fail because people want to get in cheap and not buy anything. Dimitrius is working with us and so please consider buying from the bar. NO OUTSIDE DRINKS ALLOWED! Please note: those who RSVP "YES" get in for $5. We want this first night to be successful so we are counting on a lot of 'yes' RSVPs (maybes will not get the discount - please email me privately if this is a problem or if you have an opinion).
