Description
Walk through the streets of a small town nestled in the Cascade foothills where you will pass many historic homes and churches. Walk along and cross the hand-dug Santiam Canal, named for the Santiam Indians. Walk passes water tower and water treatment plant. Cross a college campus, the pioneer cemetery, a train depot, the home which housed the original hospital and the park which was the site of the home of the founder of Lebanon. Home of children's author Bonnie Highsmith Taylor. Not all curbs are cut. 6km walk available.
