Daily, dawn to dusk. Trail is relatively flat and is mostly on sidewalks and streets in the town of Laurel and includes a walk through Riverfront Park. 10/11 K trail plus three 5K Trails available. 11K trail qualifies for Railroad Program. One 5K trail qualifies for Cemetery Stroll. Author Stephen King. U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower. Patuxent River walks qualify for the Native American Culture because the rivers were major pathways for north and western Indians to come to the Chesapeake Bay for trade. One event credit regardless of number of trails walked. Fee for IVV credit or non-IVV credit is $3.00. Children 12 and under walk for free (IVV-Credit included) courtesy of Freestate Happy Wanderers.
