What is the Colorado River Fall Festival?

This is an annual event offered by the York Rite bodies of California, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico that affords all the Chaper, Council and Commandery Degrees in full form.

When?

In 2012, this event is scheduled for October 21, 22 and 23.  Online registrations are possible, and check-in ends at 5:00pm on Sunday, October 21.

Candidate orientation will be Sunday evening.

Costs

Based on 2011, as the 2012 flights have not yet been announced ...

Transportation will be arranged through Sun Country 737-800 Jet Aircraft or a Xtra Airways 737-400 Jet to Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino.

• The date is expected to be very similar to last year's, which should happen on Saturday or Sunday, October 20 or 21st.  We will not know for certain until their schedules are released from the Laughlin Riverside Resort Flight Program.  This is expected to happen by mid-August.
• In addition to flight & room accommodations all flight packages include complimentary airport and luggage transfer to and from the local airport and the Laughlin Resort.

  In 2011, the total cost for the flight from Seattle/Yakima, 3 night's stay and return was $189.

  This is a first-come, first-serve situation, and seats on the aircraft fill up very quickly once announced.  If you wait too long, you will miss out.

 It is recommended that you start calling in mid-August.

Meeting Site

This event has traditionally been held at the beautiful Laughlin Resort at the very southern tip of the State of Nevada, in Laughlin.
