Finding people to serve on the board of directors for your non-profit organization can be a difficult task. People agree to serve on boards for all kinds of reasons. What makes one board successful and another one the opposite? This 2-hour workshop will explain why boards are important and what the characteristics of an effective board are. In addition, you will learn how to recruit, train and evaluate your board members.
