Event details: Pet Fair: PETSTACULAR!
Description
A Pet-Look-Alike contest will take place at 11 a.m. and registration for the contest will be on site. Dana Smith and his performing dog, Lacey, will provide a fast-paced variety show onstage at 1 p.m. Other attractions include pet psychic Terri Jay; author and book signing event with Kimberly (Lewis) Reinhart and Paula Jacoby-Garrett, writers of Best Hikes with Dogs: Las Vegas and Beyond; dog yoga and massage with Amy Herzlich; and natural pet food/care with Dr. Nancy Brandt.
There will be animal adoptions coordinated by NSPCA, fun activities for kids of all ages including electronic and print games, vendors of various pet wares and related services, as well as food vendors. Each adopted animal will be accompanied with a welcome gift basket. Free dog and owner portrait photos for the first 300 attendees and free pet scoops for the first 100 attendees.
All pets must be on a leash at all times. This free event is co-sponsored by the Friends of Southern Nevada Libraries.
