Start Point Address / Driving Directions:
100 West Ryder Ave. FROM THE NORTH: I-85, exit 68, onto Hwy 29BYP/601S for approx. four miles. Turn right onto East Ryder for 0.6 miles to Rick's (corner of Main and West Ryder). FROM THE WEST: NC 152 from Mooresville, bear right onto NC 153 for three miles and turn left at the traffic light (T-intersection). Proceed 0.3 miles on Main to Rick's on left. FROM THE SOUTH: I-85 exit 58, onto Cannon Blvd. (29/601) approx. 8 miles and turn left on Ryder to Rick's. Event Description: Mon - Sat, Dawn to Dusk; Sun, 8:00am -Dusk. Landis is a small residential town north of Charlotte.The walk is on quiet residential streets and consists of two five kilometer loops through Landis, a predominately residential community with a railroad track running through the downtown. Rick's Express and Diner (Texaco Station) is the Start/Finish point for each of the five kilometer loops. This provides an excellent opportunity for restrooms and refreshments at midpoint in the 10km walk.
